The most significant youth entrepreneurship competition in Finland culminates in the finals on 18-19 April in Helsinki. In the finals, two best JA companies will be selected to represent Finland in Europe’s largest entrepreneurship competition, Gen-E.
The two-day finals event consists of a fair part, company presentations and an entrepreneurial competition and, of course, a festive awards ceremony. The finals event provides young people with an opportunity to present their products and services to the competition jury and shopping centre customers, get to know each other and get memorable learning experiences.
Uskalla Yrittää is the most significant youth entrepreneurship event in Finland and is organized by the Junior Achievement association. The best JA companies from the regional semi-finals from all over Finland will be selected for the national finals in April.
The Finnish Championship winners are selected by a jury of business professionals. Finland’s best JA companies will be selected in the finals. The top awards are JA Company of the Year, awarded to the best primary or secondary level company, and JA Enterprise of the Year, awarded to the best higher education level company. The winners will represent Finland at the European Championships in July.
