Who will represent Finland at the European level?
The NY Start Up Program is a program coordinated by JA Finland to learn entrepreneurship, business, and innovation skills. During the program, students found their own mini-company based on their own ideas and innovations through which the students have the chance to test their ideas with real paying customers. The program is a method of learning entrepreneurship, working life skills, as well as a chance to try out the things learned in school in practice.
The best company from the National Final Competition in Lahti will represent Finland in the European level championship held in Bucharest, Romania.
There is a trade fair exhibition open to the public on the 13th of May from13:00 to 15:00 where the students get a chance to sell their products to the general public. Click here for a detailed schedule of the whole event.
A jury consisting of business executives will evaluate each company’s performance in the different categories and the winners will be published on Wednessday 13th of May by 17:00.
