One of the largest law offices of the Nordics, Roschier, is a main partner of Junior Achievement Finland since the spring of 2016.
JA Finland offers entrepreneurship education programs schools aimed at improving the entrepreneurial attitude, financial literacy, and working life skills of 7-25 year olds students.
Celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, one of the leading law offices of the Nordics, Roschier, offers legal counseling for its customers in both national and international markets. The company has now become a main partner of JA Finland with excitement to support entrepreneurship among the youth.
The expectations and structure of a typical working life have changed quickly. Corporations and schools must meet the new demands and challenges. According to the CEO of JA Finland, Virpi Utriainen, cooperation with Roschier offers a chance to help young people learn working life skills in the fast paced society we live in. Through the cooperation, young people receive the realistic and long waited for feedback and support for their business ideas.
-4500 enthusiastic 16-25 year old students take part in our programs this year. All over Finland 17 universities and 160 primary and secondary level schools use our entrepreneurship programs as a part of their course offering, Utriainen sums up.

In addition it is wonderful that the JA programs are done as a part of regular teaching in schools and reach students of all ages. When the chance came to support the activities of JA Finland came, we immediately took the chance,” Manner adds.
One of the key figures of the cooperation, a lawyer at Roschier Johanna Flythström adds: Bravery, the ability to take initiative, and knowing one’s strengths are import in finding the right path to take. It is motivating, that we can induce enthusiasm and cheer on young people with different backgrounds to take the challenges, to try their ideas, and to become entrepreneurs.
-We are keenly waiting to have the chance to mentor the students and give them our support in the first few steps of entrepreneurship. I believe that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial, and through it we are able to deliver the message of JA Finland to a larger audience.”
In 2020, the goal is to have 15 000 young people participating in the entrepreneurship programs of JA Finland.
-Through our programs, studying and working life come together and young people find the things they are good at – all by learning by doing. We need businesses to do this work with us for success, says Utriainen.
