The use of Internet and social media in the PR and marketing of JA companies has increased tremendously.

Several JA companies have already utilized to the full extent the possibilities online content opens for entrepreneurship.

”The students in JA Company and JA Start Up programs are founding websites, Facebook pages, blogs, and online stores for their companies. Other social media challens, such as Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest are also utilized in marketing,” said JA’s Program Manager Turo Numminen.

Skills of the young JA entrepreneurs were showcased in the Company and Start Up program competitions which reached their conclusion in March. Rewards were given for JA companies with best online solutions.

”The most proficient JA companies make extensive use of the Internet and know how to obtain visibility and clients through social media. These solutions clearly show that these youths have professional competence,” Numminen said.
