Junior Achievement Finland

We are a leading organization in entrepreneurship education in Finland. We help children and youth learn entrepreneurial and working life skills as well as financial literacy. We act in cooperation with education providers, decision makers, business communities, and the young people.

Implementing our study programs helps education providers with the teaching of entrepreneurship, working life skills, and financial literacy. We offer teachers tools that are crafted in accordance with the current national curricula for teaching various skills that support comprehensive and diversified learning on all school levels from early childhood education to higher education.

What is entrepreneurship education?

Entrepreneurship education is education aimed at learners of all ages and part of the curricula on all school levels. It aims to promote positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship, increase entrepreneurial readiness, and develop a culture of entrepreneurial behavior.

The objective of entrepreneurship education is to strengthen our children and young people’s civic competences, the necessary future attitude, and working life skills, as well as to help them identify and acknowledge their personal skills and strengths. Furthermore, entrepreneurship education aims to increase the amount of entrepreneurship in our society and strengthen everyone’s attitudes and abilities to help us cope with changes in the working life sector.

Junior Achievement Finland

Junior Achievement Finland is a leading organization in entrepreneurship education in Finland. We help children and youth learn entrepreneurial and working life skills as well as financial literacy.

 

Uskalla Yrittää

Uskalla Yrittää Competition with its regional semifinals and a national final is the most important entrepreneurial competition for young people in Finland. The competition is arranged for the young people participating in the JA Company Program who can enter their practice companies in the competition.

 

JA Company Program

The JA Company Program is a free tool combining theory and practice for teaching and learning entrepreneurial skills, knowledge, and attitude. The JA Company Program is available for middle schools, vocational and upper secondary schools, and for higher education.

 

Pikkuyrittäjät

Pikkuyrittäjät (Little Entrepreneurs) is a free entrepreneurship education program for elementary school grades 4.-6. During the program, the children will learn about entrepreneurship, develop their skills, and, within a small group, start their own small company.
